I should not pass this opportunity to respond to the PR department but on the other hand, as an Independent Dealer of Amsoil Inc. I can represent and write from my perspective.
The message about automotive synthetics is getting heard on many fronts. At first it was a challenge to merely have the brand noticed now it’s developing into a “battle of the brands”. In 1972, the initial stages of the science involving automotive synthetics had its beginnings from aircraft lubricants. The message of reduced oil change intervals was met with much resistance whereas today it’s common because of the applied science and the necessity to reduce operation and maintenance expenses. A large network of
independent dealers across the U.S. and Canada have been effective to spreading the effectiveness and performance of the leader in automotive synthetics. The term “leader” is not applicable in the category of sales but in innovation and integrity of the science involved. The fact that the science has been duplicated by the bigger “boys” also displays its reputation as the leader.

Amsoil Inc. has taken advantage of its opportunities to use it resources where it is most effective from it’s perspective. Perhaps this could be why I’ve been asked on many occasions, “Why haven’t we heard about Amsoil?” My reply might be, “Do you watch sports television?” The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center has the Amsoil Arena where the venue is filled with spectators who see the logo whether they like it or not.

The viewing the battle with a different perspective has not been overlooked by the marketing departments of serious small and large business. The environmental and economic spheres are made for businesses that have products that perform in ways that can be measured to address these themes. Legislators are also getting on the band wagon.
