I have been to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Muinich, Milan and Athens this year and just got back from Canada was there for a week, boy it is lovely there. I got to see some friends and also got to see some of the beautiful country side. The weather was absolutely lovely and it was so good to see my neices and nephews again. I am going to go to Mexico, the Carribean the Far East (China, Japan and Singapore) and Australia later this year I will be sure to take loads of pictures and videos with my new camera and load them here.

When I first started in this industry I was sold the idea that Traffic sites were a good way to generate traffic to you web page. After months of mindless clicking on those silly robots, words or what ever that particular site used as anti robot programs. I took a step back and thought about it logically. I am racing through the multiple tabs I have set up in my browser clicking on the relevant icon to continue surfing and the only time any of these pages get my attention is when there is one of those random tests to ensure I am not a robot. Ok and even that didn’t happen sometimes and I failed the test by not answering the questions. So once again I thought this system is flawed I am pretty confident I am not some sort of a genius who is the only one in the world who has multiple tabs and is clicking away not even looking at the pages people post on there.
My advice if you are looking for a system these sites may be useful but be careful there are many sharks out there just waiting for the next sucker to come along. I think the best way to choose a new system is to find something that you can be passionate about.
Ok back on topic now, there are many ways to drive traffic to your site I will list all of the ways I am aware about and then go into detail about each one.
1. Talk to Friends and Family2. Buy leads from a marketing company3. Adsense and the like4. Blogging5. Social Media sites6. Seminars
1. Talk to Friends and Family - this is actually quite a good way to move your business forward. I have read on so many sites this is the old fashioned way of doing things and this does not work any more. Rubbish! Just don’t go to them and say I have to show you something that you will love. I would use more the approach like I found this and wanted to get your opinion on it, or do you know someone who may be interested in…. This works much better then the direct sell and you won’t loose friends in the mean time.
2. Buy leads from a marketing company - Unless you know someone else you can trust that has used this company before I would not recommend this. There are many sharks out there in this industry and you could end up buying leads that are really old or are not even verified so all or the bulk of them are not even valid. Only use this method if you know the source is reliable and if they can give you some kind of guarantee. I used to buy leads when I was a professional and the marketing company would guarantee a conversion rate if the company you are talking to does not offer this I would not proceed.
3. Adsense and the like - I will not go on about this too much but I have a few words to say about it. Expensive and not targeted, I would only recommend this if your marketing budget is very high.
4. Blogging - If you make your blogs useful with a strategic plant of your link in the blog from time to time you will see results but don’t rely on this alone because that is exactly how you will end up ALONE.
5. Social Media sites - These are brilliant but always remember don’t chase the crowd if you offer value to them they will come to you. Don’t forget to use the groups they are very useful.
6. Seminars - this is the best way to meet like minded people give them a hook, then follow up afterwards with them to show them the opportunity.

Setting Goals

1. Write down your goal and describe it the colour the smells the touch describe every sense of your goal how you are going to feel when you have it all of these must be expressed regularly.  Get a Dream Board!

2. Reason, there is no point having a goal that does not have a reward why do you want to achieve your goal? Describe that is great detail smell it, touch, it feel it remember this when you loose focus.

3. Every day or night write down a task you are going to accomplish to take you one step closer to your goal. Do it there is no point writing things down you are not going to take action on.

4. Start a success journal list even the small things everything counts a call or passing up that sucluent chocolate you colleague offers you at work.

5. This deserves to be after each step really it is simple and I can say it in two words Take Action.  It is as simple as that you can be a dreamer a watcher or a doer it is up to you.

6. I don’t know one that is more important then this step.  It is a funny thing how simple excercises can improve our clarity and life try this and tell me did it work for you?  It does for me every time.

Ask yourself these questions:
1. Where are you?
2. What do you want to do?
3. How will you feel while doing it?

Ok so my house was full of post its and afirmations but this really cracked it for me this got me off my A** and made me who I am today.

7. Ok there are going to be some things that you just hate doing and to be honest you are not any good at them anyway.  You have two choices learn them yourself I only recommend this if you are a speed learner.  I say learn enough about it so you can manage someone to do it for you pay someone to do it for you.

8. Sometimes you set a goal and you don’t achieve it the first time you try that does not mean the goal is out of your reach if you are certain you want this a good rule of thumb is stick with it and give back in order to recieve you must first give.

9. Ok we have heard this so many times but do we do it? Along with a journal you must create lists. These lists must be as detailed as possible and will play a big part in creating your success journal.

10. Perhaps it is time to sum up with the importance of positive thinking.  If you continue to think like you have always thought you will continue to get what you always got.

This Blog is about my heroes because they have brought so much into my life and I am very grateful, I have not yet been blessed to meet some of these people. I dream one day I will not only meet those who continue to bless our lives with their wisdom and presence, but I will be able to offer them my knowledge which in turn will enrich their life in some way.

My first mention would have to me of course my parents, my dad for enriching my lateral thinking brain, for treating me like daddies little girl and being able to show his love for me without fail throughout my whole life. Then there is my mum she enriched the motherly caring brain. She showed me how to respect myself and how to listen to my inner soul. I love these two people more than anything in the world am I am so grateful they are happy and healthy and continue to enrich my life with their wisdom, love and true friendship. I am so grateful to have such a solid and loving foundation throughout my life without fail, they truly are the most amazing people I know.

My Uncle Roger he was the first to show me there was something to be said about dreams, he is truly the first entrepreneur I ever met. Even when I was too young to know what it meant I knew he had a different spirit and I loved that side of his spirit.

It would be fair to say I could name my whole family here and take you deep inside myself but….I don’t want to do that. So now I am going to mention some of my other heroes who I have not necessarily met but who have enriched my life in some way.

I must mention first the person who has had the largest and most positive influence in my life so far and for this I am forever grateful. The things he has taught me and in some cases asserted ideas or thoughts I had already have enabled me to grow and achieve what I have until now. I truly believe if I had not been exposed to this man and his words I would not have the confidence to chase for my dreams and for this Anthony Robbins I thank you I am forever in your debt. I know I made myself because I made the choices I have, but without the motivation he provides sometimes I would have given up. His attitude to life and energy is definitely a positive addition to anyone’s day, I recommend if you have not already purchased “Awaken the Giant Within” do so and throw it on your ipod. Before you ask, no I don’t get royalties but Tony if you see this and fancy doing so get in touch.

This woman is the most amazing person on television today she represents all that is good and all that is motivational. She is an astute business woman and brings inspiration and love to everyone who watches her. She is a philanthropist, and needs no introduction Oprah Winfrey came from a single parent home and is now either one of the or the richest women in the USA. Not bad girl, smashing job!! I hope she will continue to bless our lives with her fantastic magnetism and inspirational ideas for a long time to come. Hey! and not to steal the glory of this great woman but Dr. Phil how good is he? Thanks for introducing him to us Oprah your the best.

Mother Teresa the worlds most remembered humanitarian in many ways, her memory will always resonate in the souls of everyone who has heard about her and knows anything about her. She truly was a beautiful spirit her love was felt throughout the world. I remember the day of her death it happened the first year I moved to the UK, bless her soul. I admire her unselfishness and determination to help people regardless of their race, creed or colour. If I can learn to be half the humanitarian she was I will be happy her generosity and kindness I use as a constant reminder of what we all can be if we choose to.

This man demonstrated to the world “the secret” before we even labelled it, but we didn’t see it. He captured the heart of the world and is the second ever honorary citizen in Canada as well as a Nobel Prize winner for his work on the South African Government. He is a true believer in himself and even after 27 years in prison he has most recently led the world for his work with AIDS he is a true humanitarian and has inspired me in the believe it is never too late to start something good and showed me the true meaning of “if you are given lemons make lemonade.”

This woman has entertained us for over 20 years and you either love her or hate her but of course I think you can guess which side of the fence I am on. She has continued to amaze me shock me and entertained me for all of those 20 years it just seems like yesterday that I first heard her, I was tying rags in my hair and cutting off the fingers to my gloves to be like her. I recently heard someone say “Madge close your legs you are 50 years old” I say you go girl!! if you got it flaunt it I admire you for being you and looking after yourself the way you do. No I don’t think you are a freak you are an inspiration and a blessing to the music industry for the duration of my adulthood. I don’t know many people who can say that!! if you have not guessed who it is yet where have you been?? Madonna

This guy must have had a terrible childhood his dad was the head of Education in the State of Hawaii now who would not have wanted to grow up there? This man is and always has been a true business man he has a keen understanding of how to generate wealth. He is disciplined and calculated and realizes that wealth does not only come from money. He is a true inspiration and I would love to have him as my mentor. It is amazing how some people can explain something but can not make themselves understood. I have read several books and it wasn’t until I listened to Robert Kiyosaki that I was able to put my knowledge together which in turn has helped me focus on my route to success. I highly recommend “the Cash Quadrant” it is an amazing read I have the book and the audio tapes and I listen to them all the time with my notes book close to hand. Again Robert if you trip over this and fancy giving me a plug I am not adverse to this what so ever.

Virgin enough said!! This man is amazing what a true entrepreneur. Is there anything he doesn’t own? This proves that systems work because he surely can not be a specialist in everything he markets, think about it. Sir Richard Branson I toast you!

OK, before Tony Robbins, before Robert Kiyosaki before just about everyone I have listed already this man has amazed me since I can remember. He owns some of the most prestigious property in the world his is a genius and one of the richest men in the world. Through him I have experienced my true love of property I have admired his buildings and ventures since I knew what money was and what it meant to me. He was the first person I remember who was true self made man. He is the only man in the world who can call his buildings towers he is the one and only Donald Trump I take my hat off to you sir Simply AMAZING you are a true inspiration. He has also known when to hand over part responsibility and focus on something else I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next, what ever it is I am sure it will be good.

Rhonda Byrne thanks for revealing the secret to success the translation into text and film was very entertaining you have a true talent. I have to admit I don’t know much about her but I really like her productions so far.

The list would not be complete without Jack Cranfield, John Gray, Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider who have managed to create a worldwide phenomena with their best selling books. They deserve it every single one of them was a fantastic read and very true in a lot of ways.

I have several friends and heros or mentors who are less known people like Martin Welsh, Parmdeep Vadesha to name a few. These people are innovators movers and shakers they have two completely different work ethics but are amazing in their own way. I am blessed to have them in my life and having the great opportunity to learn from them.

Find your hero and be them that is the true route to happiness.

I thought when I first started online marketing years ago “there are millions of people out there and they will have to hit my page at sometime or another” but what I have come to realize is there are just as many if not more websites then people on the internet. So how do you get traffic to your site? Well of course there is paying for it…

The first system I joined sold me lists of prospects most of the contacts were dead and I had to claim each one of them back separately I soon realized I would be spending a lot of time managing dead leads instead of giving the attention to the serious leads. So let me tell you I soon got rid of that idea! That was rubbish, for me, works for some but not for me. I then tried another system the problem with this system was calling people all over the world mostly in America and not having the time to do it because of the time difference. I managed not to loose much money on that venture and learned another thing I didn’t want to do so I had to find another system which let me communicate with people when I had the time to do it.

So I searched again and even joined a system that sold nothing at all, I mean absolutely nothing I really couldn’t get my head around that one so I had to shove off of that one as well.

So again I was narrowing down what I need, I needed to find a system that suits me. I came to another company I thought at first I found it this is the right one then when I got under the hood I realized this company was selling something I can get for free on the internet and I didn’t want any part of that. So dumped that one as well.

I have now found two systems which suit me and I know if you continue to look you will find the one that suits you. Don’t give up if you have not found it yet if you want it bad enough and believe it, it will happen.

I needed something that offers benefits to everyone that uses it and pays you for something you have to do to be successful on the internet anyway (ok, I admit I learned that part from this system)…

Think, Believe, Have

The LOA is a simple concept but as you will find out the more you learn about it the more complex it is. Think success be successful, follow a system they are there for a reason. Continue to work with it don’t give up. Monitor new systems you adopt and determine how you are going to use it in your life if you are going to at all. Be organized, Understand the Maths, Learn how to sell, and most importantly remember you will always learn something from mistakes so relish them and appreciate every single one of them.

I feel I should add this to my blog as well as Robert Kiyosaki said most people know the phrase “Pay yourself First” but most people don’t know what it means this is his definition when I first heard it I was reminded I was doing it wrong and have changed my method…

Pay yourself first means to invest money so that it pays you back asap. It could be spent on training or buying assets which will give you cash flow. I also follow the principal from “Cashflow Quadrant” by Robert Kiyosaki. Use the cash flow from your assets to buy your luxuries in life not your income. This was a hard one to change I always borrowed for my luxuries ok, yes I could pay them off quickly but it was out of my salary not my assets.

Step one is to define the system you are going to use and know you may have to be flexible and make adjustments to your plan as things change. Make your commitment to making your money work for you, instead of you working for money.

Use free tools as much as you can, I am not going to promote any sites here but if you want to share the information you have with me and I with you feel free to contact me on the link at the bottom of this blog.

Remember to keep a spread sheet of all the websites you are a member of with your passwords keep this information on a USB stick not on your computer for security and don’t loose that stick. Don’t count on your Favourites because this does not let you to make comments on the websites which will help you to keep track of the effectiveness of them, this will become very useful.

I suggest just to take the plunge that is the first step and the second step is to stick with it or move on to something which suits you better. Again relish your mistakes they are the perfect opportunity to learn. Get a mentor find someone who is successful and learn from them.

Once you have a customer manage them properly and be sure to keep them even if not for your current business. The law of attraction is inevitable it is like the law of gravity it never changes if you do what is true to you and what you have a passion for you will succeed. The future is yours.
