I have published and are offering the following books to help sensitized and enlighten others of the true life in the spirit which is at variance with the life which is in accordance to the flesh, and they are as follows;
1.The Purpose of human life
Human life transcends the physical realm. It is not a matter of, let us eat and drink, build beautiful houses, drive luxurious vehicles, go on cruises, taking a long vacation. Regardless how gratifying these things are to the flesh and good for the eyes to behold; the irony of truth is, they are all mundane, fleeting, and temporary. They don’t last forever.
Life is more purposeful than these fleeting moments of time, it is eternal, an eternal gift from God to fulfill an eternal purpose. When someone does not know the value and purpose of something, the natural tendency is to, misuse, abuse, neglect discard, and eventually destroy it. The same is true with our human life. From the inception God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let him have dominion or rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in numbers, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground” (Genesis 1:26-28).
In short man was created in the very image and likeness of God for the purpose of ruling the earth, and from all indications, the purpose of human life is to have everlasting dominion over the earth. Now since man is flesh and blood, mortal, and corruptible, he cannot fulfill God’s ordained purpose if he remains in the flesh. Therefore, his work right now is to create for himself with the help of God a body which is immortal, incorruptible, and everlasting, because “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable” (1Corinthians 15: 50).
The important question for us today is, “How can the perishable clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality?
The bible makes reference to man as being an old man: as well as a new man, an outward man: and an inward man. A being who lives in accordance to the flesh: and a being who lives in accordance to the Spirit. A being with a carnal mind: and a being with a spiritual mind.
Man is so complex he cannot understand his own actions. The Apostle Paul alluded to this fact by saying; “For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.’
“But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me” (Romans 7:15-20).
From all indications, there are two diametrically opposite sides of a man, both with their individual characteristics, each tree bearing its own fruit.
Christian Fellowship today has become more or less like a social gathering and money-making venture all in the name of Jesus Christ, without taking into consideration the essential requirements for Christian or Christ-like fellowship. In the past, the Lord was very particular with regards to the way, the place, the season and time in which humanity especially his chosen people worshiped him. But what is God’s perspective in our new dispensation?
Is everyone at liberty to worship the Lord according to the imagination of his own heart or denomination, or are there specific guidelines on how the Lord should be worshiped? There is no doubt that a specific place of worship is no longer on the agenda because Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem worship the Father …But the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship him. God is Spirit and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.” (John 4:21, 23-24)
Worship is not a matter of whosoever will may come and sing songs of praise, and offer up prayers and supplications to God. Worship, whether on an individual or collective basis, is a sacred and holy time between a believer and God, and the believer must take cognizance of the prerequisites for worship.
When one considers carefully what true Christian fellowship is, one can conclude that, Christian fellowship is a holy time ordained by God, for His Holy people to have a Holy Convocation, in order to offer to Him His Holy Offering, delight themselves before Him, and tremble before Him.
The first reason why the earth and its inhabitants are in such a crisis it is because the laws of God are being transgressed. The irony of truth is, every aspect of life is governed by a law or principle, and whether one is knowledgeable, or ignorant of these laws they automatically reap the benefits for obeying them, and unfortunately reap the consequences for violating them: Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
Laws were designed by God and gave to man for man’s good. It is God’s way of life to man, and the way the universe is governed. The Lord said to the prophet Ezekiel, “I gave them my statutes and showed them my ordinances, by whose observance man shall live.
Moreover I gave them My Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, that they might know that I the Lord sanctify them. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness; they did not walk in my statutes but rejected my ordinances, by whose observance man shall live; and My Sabbaths they greatly profaned” (Ezekiel 20:11-13).
As long as man continues to violate the laws which God has ordained by which man should live, and by which the earth is governed, man and the earth will continue to be under a curse.
5.How is Jesus Christ Glorified as Lord
Jesus Christ is glorified as Lord when glory and honor is given to Him as Lord. For thus says the Lord; “Why do you call Me “Lord, Lord,” and do not do what I tell you?” And, “Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven” (Luke 6: 46; Matthew 7:21).
But what exactly is the will of the Father? The will of the Father is what He foreordained for man in Christ Jesus before the world began, and that is the sanctification of man. And so it is written: “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight: In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will – to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the one He loves” (Ephesians 1:4-6).
It is stated again that the church was elected according to the foreknowledge of God the Father in sanctification of the Holy Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (1Peter 1:2).
The irony of truth is, God from the very beginning created man in His very image, and according to His likeness to have a relationship with Him, but due to Adam’s disobedience man became separated from God, because God does no co-exist with sin. And since the wages of sin is death, God in His manifold wisdom had the Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world.
This act is God’s spiritual wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. And the intent and purpose of that mystery is for the church to make known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.
The Bible makes it abundantly clear that there are believers and unbelievers, but apparently people are unable to make a clear distinction between the two, because there is little or no difference between the life style of the believer and that of the unbeliever.
The bible for example gives a clear command for believers who are married to another believer, and another charge to a believer who is married to an unbeliever. To the married believers the bible states categorically, “To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife” (1Corinthians 7:10-11).
To a believer who is married to an unbeliever the bible gives a totally different charge which is, “To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him, for the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband.
Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. Wife, how do you know whether you will save your husband? Husband, how do you know whether you will save your wife” (1Corinthians 7:12-16)?
With the majority of people violating with impunity the command given to believers, and adopting the principle granted to unbelievers, it leaves one to wonder whether there is any distinction between believers and unbelievers.
The church in the true sense of the word refers to “All who have been Redeemed,” Or groups of Christians assembled for worship. The basis on which most churches operate it is quite apparent that they have not conceptualized the huge separation that exists between the church and the world, between light and darkness.
The church is made up of individuals or groups of people who have been sanctified or set apart as holy unto the Lord. We all have the same equal opportunity to be one of those sanctified ones because God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. It is in Christ Jesus that we all live and move and have our being; He is the vine and we are the branches.
Walking in the Spirit is not something many people take literally, but it is a literal way of life, just like the life which is in accordance to the flesh. The life in the Spirit is so literal that it is at variance with the life which is in accordance to the flesh. Hence the reason the apostle Paul gave the admonition saying; “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish” (Galatians 5:16-17).
I have attempted to show in this book how to literally walk in the Spirit, which simply means to walk in accordance to the word of God which is Spirit.
9. The Principles of Godly Living The Almighty God the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea and springs of water, and in Whom we all live and move and have our existence, have ordained specific principles by which every aspect of life is governed, and principally by which man should live.
These principles are eligible to all peoples, nations, tribes and languages, for it is stated that, “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
10. The Dilemma of Vain Worship In studying the word of God, I perceived that the worse indictment that is labeled on the Christian community is that of vain worship. Like the Jews, the majority of Christians have a zeal for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge, their worship of God is not in accordance to the commandments of God, but rather based on the tradition, doctrines and commandments of men, like Jesus said “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God, in order to observe your own traditions” (Mark 7:9).
The major problem with the Christian religion is that, they exhibit a total lack of awe, respect and reverence to the Lord when presenting themselves before Him. They portray an attitude of self righteousness in that, they believe that they can present themselves before the Sovereign Lord without following the rules of protocol and the prerequisite for worship.
This book help explain the protocol for true Christian fellowship and how not to worship the Lord in vain.
