Backlink Energizer – Getting Your backlinks Indexed!

Backlink Indexing is a great way to improve the effectiveness of your backlink
building efforts.  Whether you use Articles, profiles, blogging, guest blogging
or other backlink building strategies.  Taking steps to get Google to find your
links willgreatly increase your link eforts value.

It’s one thing to go out and build or hire an outsourcer to build 100’s, even
1,000’s of backlinks to your money sites and important traffic pages.  Nowdays
that’s a rather trivial exercise – time or money solves the issue and there’s a
lot of quality resources.  It’s quite another issue altogether to get maximum
value from those backlinks.  Take for instance, profile backlinks [ which are
all the rage right now ] – how many of those, if left alone after being created,
will ever find their way into Google’s index?  If Google never crawls them and
indexes them, how are we to get credit for them?  One case study I saw
reently – illustrated a 250% increase in links indexed by Google by taking
matters in your own hands vs. waiting for Google bot to get around to finding
them – naturally.

The whole concept – based on all the current tools on the market, is to build
backlinks to your backlinks on high trafficked web 2.0 sites.

I tried improving my odds with the Google bot and big G’s index using a couple
of the leading tools on the market.  Some aspects I liked – other aspects not
so much.  Some systems relied on web 2 gatekeeper sites like Posterous or
Ping.fm to cross post identical content across a dozen web 2.0 sites.  Problem
is – if the gatekeeper site gets wind of it – they’re likely to shut it all off.
In fact they’ve been trying to do just that.

One of the other issues was … having to sort out, and install a PHP script on
my hosted server.  What if I want to build a rather large network of indexing
sites?  All going to come off the same IP?  Easy footprint for web 2.0 admins
to track down as the source.  So to distance my linking efforts from my money
site IP’s – I’ll need a 2nd hosting account on top of the cost of the application.
Not to mention the challenges that come with maintaining a server side PHP script.

Another system I looked into was using web 2.0 sites and rss feeds of backlinks,
and then shortened urls.  I wasn’t sure how post after post of shortned urls on
web 2.0 sites was going to last for very long.  I suspected those sites using it
agressively would meet certain moderator death.  Another issue was … will 20
posts a day of nothing but short urls be reliable bait for Google bot to keep
coming back – daily?  I had already wasted enough time – I didn’t feel like
taking another flyer on what I determined to be questionable SEO and indexation
tactics right from the start.

Fortunately, a friend turned me onto one of the coolest WordPress Plugins I’ve
ever used. Backlink Energizer. The guys over at Backlink Goldmine developed it.
I guess this Andy Fletcher guy is a wizard with PHP and WordPress – and he
whipped up this SEO plugin to make it as easy as possible for the “non tekkie”
marketer to get rapid results.  They buried a bunch of the techno mumbo jumbo
into the WordPress publishing engine – and made it Copy N Paste easy!

All I had to do was take one of my WordPress blogs and install the plug in.
From there it was as easy as making a post or page in the WordPress interface.
I pasted a text file list of all my backlinks I wanted to get indexed.  A few
RSS Feeds they supplied, and I made a list of keywords to use for the links back
to my backlinks.  From there I needed to fill in my FREE Web 2.0 blog sites like
Vox – Posterous – WordPress.com – Blogger – Multiply – LiveJournal – TypePad Micro,
and a WordPress blog I hosted myself.  I’d say the whole thing took me less
than 1 hr.  I think my next install will be only 15-20 minutes though, as I now
know exactly what to expect.  It really was straightforward and simple – there
are just a lot of username – password details to enter.  By far the easiest
system for backlink indexation I’ve seen.  If my results are only have as good
as their case study … I will be more than pleased at this economical price
point and ease of use.

I will be reporting more on indexed link numbers shortly.

You can go have a look at their Backlink Energizer Case Study where they
tested 300 backlinks – 150 got Energized, 150 did not.  The results from the
Energized group were astounding.  To learn more about the Backlink Energizer Plug In, read my complete review at : Backlink Energizer Discount and Review

Onpage SEO – How to do it right?

Many marketers are so busy with the stampede for traffic that all their time is taken up building links. They have forgotten that the on page factors are vital in SEO.

These are not difficult for you to do and Should be part of every new site design you perform. An ideal SEO friendly piece of software is WordPress.

The first step is for you to make sure you have set your title tag correctly. This needs to be 64 characters in length. Any longer and it will be truncated and this will look very peculiar in the search engine results.

The title tag needs to tell people what your site is about in such a way to entice them in to your web page. It ought to include a keyword that is specific for the page the title tag is on. Every single page on your website needs to have its own unique title tag. Every page must have its own title tag.

You must remember about your meta keywords and meta description tags. These inform the search engine robots what your site is about. They are not massively important to the search engines, as most of them will analyse your site to see what it is really about.

If you have Adsense ads on your site, your meta tags help determine the relevancy of adverts being displayed.

The meta description is of importance because it appears in the search engine rankings. It is 150 characters for you to get people to click on your link and come to your website. You have to be concise and enticing in the same sentence.

These both have to be different for every page in your site.

All graphics on your site have what are called as ALT tags. These tags provide an alternative description for the visually impaired. These are noticed by the search engines and can get your images ranking well. Make sure you do not use the same keyword to too many ALT tags and add the word graphic, picture, image or something like it afterwards. This indicates to the the search engines your website is related for those keywords.

Putting your keyword in the header 1 or H1 tag on your page is also helpful. This again indicates that your site is important for that keyword.

Using your keyword well within the body of your page and including related keywords with it will also help boost your rankings.

Just do not try and stuff too many keywords on to a single page as you may get yourself dropped by the search engines.

By performing some simple on page SEO optimization you can gain the advantage in the search engines. Remember that not all marketers do this, and this can put you ahead of your competition, which is vital for your profitable success.

Using Keywords to Position Your Articles

In a nutshell, keywords are just words or phrases that people use to search for anything and everything online. Seeing as we’re getting the nomenclature out of the way, ‘keyword density’ is the amount of a certain keyword per 100 words.

Good Keywords are important – that can’t be stressed enough. Considering that search engines are still the primary way in which people look for anything on the internet, it means that people who are looking for things in whatever niche you’re in, are going to be doing so on search engines.

Thus, when talking about positioning your articles, it essentially means positioning them in the relevant searches, so that they’re more likely to be found by the right people.

What happens if this isn’t done? Well, say you had an article about blogging for money, but it didn’t contain any keywords that are being searched for a decent amount of times per month. In this sort of case, there would be no way that anyone would find your article, and so it would go pretty much
unread and unattended.

Admittedly, for long articles there inadvertently ends up being a keyword used here or there, but for reliable results, you’re going to want at least a 1% keyword density (but not more than 3%).

First though, you’re going to have to find the keywords that you intend to use.

Find Profitable Niche Markets (Part 1)

Knowing how to find niche markets is one of the keys to affiliate marketing success. Many beginning affiliate marketers choose to focus their efforts on broad categories, such as clothes or jewelry or money making products. However, there is so much competition in these broad categories that it’s easy for your efforts to get lost. Further, when potential customers do internet searches for broad terms like these, they’re usually in the very beginning stages of their buying cycles. People usually do lots of research on products before they buy, narrowing down their search words each time to be more and more specific, until they find exactly what they want. You want to catch people at the end of the buying cycle, once they know what they want and are ready to purchase it.

The more specific you can get with your market focus, the better chance you’ll have of attracting buyers. So, instead of focusing on “wedding dresses,” focus on a very narrow market, like “maternity wedding dresses” or “spring wedding dresses.” It will be easier for your marketing efforts to stand out when you use niches like these, and your chances of making a sale will be much higher.

It’s also best if you can find niche markets that have a lot of hungry buyers. In fact, the more desperate the buyers, the better your chances will be of selling to them. Finding hot niche markets with ready buyers isn’t difficult. All it takes is some basic research. Scan the headlines of magazines and see what themes develop among the article titles. Chances are, these are the topics people are interested in. Then, search the Internet for information about these topics, using narrow search terms. If you get lots of results returned to you, including paid ads, then you’ve found a hot niche.

TrendBuzz; This is a useful software tool to find profitable niche markets and long tail keywords to optimize your onpage SEO. But the much better part is, it helps you to detect trends in the usage of specific keywords!

RSS feeds to build Backlinks? Does it work?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a method of taking content and syndicating it out to multiple websites.  It was primarily aimed at newsfeeds and providing content from news sites to other sites.

Like many other technologies, it has been hi-jacked by Internet Marketers who have found this is an excellent way to get backlinks.  It allows you to syndicate your content to hundreds of other websites at a click of a button, which in turn will boost your site in the search engine rankings.

In order to use RSS syndication, you have to have an RSS feed from your website.  The easiest way to do this is to use WordPress when creating your website.  There are ways of making RSS feeds from normal HTML websites, but it is not always as simple as you may think.  Quite often it involves a manual process and manual submission of files.  However, there are a few websites that will automatically convert HTML to RSS for you.

Once you have an RSS feed you need to find some places to submit it.

There are two types of site you want to find.

Firstly you are looking for RSS directories.  A quick Google will bring up plenty of directories you can use.  There is software available you can buy which will automate the submission for you.

Once you have found your directories you want to submit your RSS feeds to them.  Manually it isn’t the fastest process, but it can be outsourced.  You need to have your keywords, a title and sometimes a description prepared, but that won’t take long.

It is often worth using different descriptions, titles and keywords to ensure each submission is unique.  What level of difference this actually makes no one is quite sure, but it does appear to help.

If you are manually submitting RSS feeds then you must keep track of which sites you have submitted where.  The reason being you don’t want to submit the same site more than once.  Plus, you are likely to want to submit other sites in the future.

The second type of site is the RSS Aggregator. This is a site which takes a number of RSS feeds and combines them into a single feed or webpage.  This single feed can be submitted to RSS directories, further increasing your backlinks.

The RSS aggregator can be useful to mix up your RSS feeds on a topic with feeds from news sites on the same topic.  This will provide a higher level of authority and provide more bulk to the content.

When using RSS feeds, you need to also remember that many Web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo and many article directories have RSS feeds for the pages you create.  These can also be submitted to RSS directories and aggregators in order to further increase links and boost rankings.

Your RSS feed submissions will be updated every time you update your webpage.  Therefore, if you are regularly adding new content, you can find it syndicated out to many websites very quickly, gaining you backlinks to your site.

RSS feeds are a great way to get additional backlinks and to help your sites rank well for their keywords.  Use them, enjoy them and see the links flooding in.

Social Bookmarking to boost your SERP

Social bookmarking is a great method for ranking well and direct traffic both direct traffic and good rankings.  Social bookmarking sites directly show what people are looking at.  They are aware marketers use it but know most sites that are bookmarked multiple times are genuinely of interest.

You can take advantage of this and use social bookmarking to get your sites ranking well for their keywords.

You will need to get yourself accounts on the social bookmarking sites you are going to use.  Because this takes time you can use automation software such as Onlywire to speed things up.  This will make your life a lot easier.

Then you need to find other people such as friends, family or marketers who will also set up an Onlywire account.

Then you just swap bookmarks.  They bookmark your sites, you bookmark theirs.

Most sites belonging to an Internet marketer are only bookmarked the once.  The search engines are probably very aware of this and so pay more attention to sites that have multiple bookmarks on a single site.

This simple approach can easily get you several bookmarks and will give your sites a hand up in the search engines.

You can outsource the entire social bookmarking process.  It can become expensive if you are creating a lot of sites.  You will be able to find someone to do reasonably economically on any of the marketing forums.

You can use the same system to web sites such as Stumbleupon and Digg, both of which are potential sources of massive amounts of traffic.  These sites expect more newsworthy and interesting articles.  Well written articles can get thousands of visitors in a few hours with an interesting article.

Setting up multiple social bookmarking accounts yourself and bookmarking your sites is a possibility.  Unless you use proxies, the sites will notice what you are doing and close your accounts.  Whereas this is possible, it is not worth the trouble.

By trading bookmarks with other marketers you build your network of contacts.  Potentially, these could turn out to be lucrative joint venture partners in the future.
